- Organisation : CCIG et Tilpa
Objectives
Recent trends in trade protectionism (e.g., new US policy, and BREXIT) present different challenges to companies of all sizes. Companies not only need to survive the storm of protectionism and make profits, but they are also called to try to persuade politicians to keep the commercial channels open. The complex network of international agreements - e.g. WTO, FTAs, investment treaties, partial agreements - regulates actions of States, offering both opportunities and challenges. Speakers will address recent trends in protectionism, outline avenues available to companies and brainstorm with the participants.
