Exclusive business meeting with the Mayor of Guangzhou and his delegation

This event is organized by Swiss Centers, in partnership with the Swiss-Chinese Chamber of Commerce (SCCC), the Swiss-Chinese Association – French Speaking Region (SRSSC) and the Geneva Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services (CCIG).
Guangzhou has the third largest number of national high-tech enterprises (over 11’000) and is home to most the province's university personnel and scientific and technological workers. Considered as one of the most innovative cities in the world, it is also a city with nearly 20 million inhabitants and therefore as many consumers, capital of the most populated province in China and part of the Greater Bay Area (GBA): the largest and most populated urban area and among the four largest bay areas in the world, comparable with the bay areas of New York City, Tokyo, and San Francisco.
As China comes out of the pandemic and reconnects with the world, this event offers the opportunity for the Swiss business community to (re)establish links with one of the country's most dynamic and attractive economic areas.
It is also an opportunity for Swiss companies already present in China or planning to expand there to:
- meet a high-level delegation composed of political and business leaders in China and thus create new business opportunities;
- learn more about the environment and advantages that Guangzhou offers to foreign companies willing to develop their business there;
- and finally, it is a networking and exchange event that promises to be enriching between this high-level delegation and the participants.
Members of the delegation accompanying the Mayor include representatives from Guangzhou Automobile Group (GAC Motor), Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Holding, Yuexiu Group (finance, real estate, F&B, etc.).
